In Loving Memory of Our Patriarch

On Tuesday, September 10th, ERC Parts Inc. unexpectedly lost its beloved President and CEO, Chuck Rollins.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Dianna Rollins, five children, and twelve grandchildren. He founded ERC Parts Inc. in 1979, starting as a supplier of parts for POS equipment. Under Chuck’s visionary leadership, ERC rapidly expanded, becoming North America’s largest distribution center for Panasonic POS and Wireless systems. Always ahead of the curve, Chuck transitioned ERC into a retail organization, selling directly to the USA’s top 10 quick-service restaurants (QSRs).

Over the past 45 years, Chuck employed thousands of individuals, many of whom found great success in the industry, with some starting their own businesses. One of his favorite sayings, and a principle he lived by, was, “Good business practices make a company, but good people make that company great!”

Today, ERC is a close-knit family of 30 employees with an average tenure of 18 years. Chuck took great pride in supporting his employees and their families, including their spouses, children, and grandchildren. His greatest joy was caring for his family and team throughout his remarkable career.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20th, for family and friends. While we cannot reach everyone whose life Chuck touched, we welcome you to attend or send flowers or donations in his honor.
